Duration and Liquidity
Investments provided by LuxEstate are designed to be held until the conclusion of the 5-Year Investment Period and are not publicly traded. We offer a Secondary Transfer Facility (referred to as the “Exit Window”) on our platform that allows you to sell your investment prior to the completion of the recommended term. This facility is available for only two weeks at a time, twice each year. Consequently, you may not have the opportunity for an early exit from your investment, making it likely to be illiquid. Please avoid investing with LuxEstate if you do not intend to hold the investment for the suggested term. Even with the availability of a Secondary Transfer Facility on LuxEstate, there is no guarantee that you will be able to divest your investment.
Cautionary Notice
Investing in real estate is inherently speculative. Investors through LuxEstate will not hold direct ownership of the property; instead, they will possess a stake in a private special purpose vehicle that owns the property. The value of your investments could decline, and expected returns may not be realized as projected. Furthermore, you might face delays in receiving rental income, or selling the property at the end of the investment period may be challenging. In some instances, government regulations may restrict the sale of a property to foreign buyers, limiting the pool of potential purchasers. LuxEstate provides investment options that significantly differ from direct ownership of property, investments in real estate funds, REITs, or other securities or interests. Should LuxEstate cease operations, you may incur losses, additional costs, and/or delays in receiving payments. Using borrowed funds for investments on LuxEstate entails greater risks, as you will still need to meet your repayment obligations even if your investment loses value.
